The theoretical framework provided in learning activity 1 (Seminars on Research Methodology) serves as a basis for carrying out a concrete research (option 1) or design assignment (option 2), which is explained further on in the text.

The assignment is carried out in groups.

The results of the assignment are incorporated into a paper and presented to fellow students and the professional field during a poster session.

In order to optimally stimulate self-responsible learning in future teachers, these research and design assignments are formulated as openly as possible.

The concrete assignment is determined annually. The assignment implies in any case a systematic research review and a design and/or validation section including critical reflection.

Further clarification, concretisation and information concerning the deadlines is given on Toledo.

Other modalities are possible for trainee teachers (LIO) or students who are abroad for a work placement. These students have to contact the teaching team.
