Diploma requirements

This programme is open to students holding a Master's degree in Translation, a Master's degree in Interpreting, or a Master's degree in Multilingual Communication.

Students with a similar MA/MSc, a BA in another field than Translation (minimum 180 ECTS) or any other degree must provide proof of relevant experience.

Admissions for all applicants will be verified on a person-to-person basis.

Language requirements

Applicants must prove their English language proficiency through either of these standardised tests:

• - IELTS Academic, with a minimum score of 6.5. The minimum sub-score is 6.0.
• - TOEFL iBT, with a minimum score of 94. The minimum sub-score is 20 out of 30.
• - CPE Certificate or CAE Certificate, with a minimum overall score of 173.
• - Interuniversity Test of Academic English (ITACE), with a C1 or C2 result.

An exemption from the proof of English proficiency by means of the above-mentioned tests can be given to applicants with a secondary education diploma or a higher education degree earned in Australia, English-speaking Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom or the USA. In these cases, the degree and transcripts suffice, provided that they show that the entire study was completed in English. Students who completed their studies in a satellite campus located in another country than the main campus of the university are not eligible for this exemption.
