Teaching methodology for economics provides theoretical and practical insights to assist the economics teacher in daily teaching. It looks at the place of (applied) economics education in secondary education, entrepreneurship competence, and the specific didactics for accounting education.   • the study domain 'Economics and organisation' and the key competence ‘Economic and financial competences’ in secondary education;
  • the evolution of the learning concepts and their influence on the economics curriculum;
  • the educational approach, intended learning outcomes, curricula, manuals;
  • the translation of the didactic learning process into a lesson preparation for one's own discipline, using the didactic concept of the programme;
  • formulating lesson objectives and starting situation, preparation of evaluation and lesson overview;
  • ICT literacy in the context of lesson preparations;
