Didactic Applications (B-KUL-O0G71A)

Aims
Learning outcomes
The student can:
1. Independently draw up a lesson preparation in accordance with the principles taught in ‘Teaching Methodology: Economics’.
2. Assess the starting situation of the pupils and identify and name the characteristics that influence the quality of learning.
3. Define concrete and operational objectives for a lesson (when making a lesson preparation), taking into account curricula, intended learning outcomes and the initial situation of the pupils.
4. Design and structure learning situations, adapted to the initial didactic situation, the level of processing and the diversity of the pupils. Attention is also paid to research competences and the evaluation of the lesson objectives.
5. Select learning resources according to the objectives of the field of economics and the specific needs of the pupils.
6. Prepare an evaluation linked to the lesson: formulate objective-valid questions and assignments and determine assessment criteria.
7. Apply, broaden and deepen the acquired domain-specific knowledge and skills.
8. Transfer the principles of accounting to pupils with the aid of a digital accounting package.
9. Establish a positive interaction with the class as a group.
10. Observe in a focused way and give critical feedback to others in a positive manner. The student can become accustomed to a practical class situation in a simulated (safe) classroom environment.
11. Develop teaching materials using relevant ICT tools, whether or not to be used in a digital educational context.
12. Make use of Standard Dutch in spoken and written language.
