Content
In the seminar, the following legal skills are taught:
1. retrieval of specific sources;
2. dissecting specific sources on account of legal and policy arguments;
3. form a critical opinion on the analysed specific sources;
4. analyse problems to fact and law;
5. sharpen problem solving skills;
6. legal debate;
7. legal writing.
The latter by means of the following activities:
1. In any case, the seminar includes the drafting of a scientific note.
2. In addition, the seminar includes at least a majority of the following activities:
- Answering a written question of law
- The drafting of a legal text that is specific to the discipline at hand other than the note or the question of law
- Simulating a legal form of conversation consistent with the relevant field of study
- Holding a session in a language other than Dutch, accompanied by a person who conclusively skilled in that language.
- Conduct a debate on the policy choices that are mentioned in the current positive law of the discipline;
- Critical and well prepared visit or contact with a relevant institution. All of this, on the basis of focus on the legal discipline "Property Law".
