Writing of a Grant Proposal (B-KUL-E0E35A)
Aims
Student will be able to write a FWO-style research proposal within the field of biomedical sciences.
Student will learn to synthesise state-of-the-art in the field, put forward research aims and objectives, design a work plan, and construct a research budget, personal and publication strategy. Additionally, the student will propose a dissemination strategy for general public.

Content

Format: more information
There will be an introduction to the course. The students will be guided by a mentor (a senior PhD-researcher or a post-doc).
During the progress of the student will interact with the mentor. At the end of the course, general feedback by the coordinator will be given.
Evaluation

Explanation
The proposal will be evaluated on style of writing, feasibility and innovation. The deadline will be strictly respected. Not submitting on time will result in failure (0 grade).
