Aims

The module serves as an in-depth study of legal methodology. On the one hand, selected examples of the historical debate on legal methods are discussed. On the other hand, the theoretical debate on jurisprudential methods will be reconstructed at an advanced level. Specific attention will be paid to contemporary debates, including international ones. Concrete analyses of international legal practice will serve as examples.
