Aims
The student is able to conduct independent high-level research concerning society, law and religion. More specifically, the student is able to:
- select a research theme.
- formulate scientific research questions and the related theoretic framework.
- select, apply and evaluate an adequate research method in a responsible and transparent manner.
- collect, select and analyse appropriate sources with a sufficiently high level of abstraction
- draw conclusions and offer critical reflections.
- report on the research conducted for his/her Master’s thesis in an academic style and in a responsible and transparent manner.

Content
The student performs independently a profound, methodological justified research with respect to a subject selected by an academic team within the fields of society, law and religion. The student then reports his/her conclusions in a well-documented master thesis.
