Deze cursus heeft tot doel de studenten concepten, principes en werkmethoden aan te leren die hen in staat stellen een succesvolle operationele strategie te ontwerpen voor zowel productie- (logistiek) als dienstondernemingen. In deze cursus worden de operations management tools aangevuld met een financiële invalshoek (waardemaximalisering).
Begintermen
Studenten dienen vertrouwd te zijn met concepten uit een basiscursus operationeel management/supply chain management, basisbegrippen uit de statistiek, en linear progammeren.
