Aims
- Skilfully apply the knowledge of German functionally and creatively, handling the correct register.
- Have knowledge and understanding of phonological, morphological and syntactic system of German.
- Have knowledge and understanding of social and geographical language variation.
- Apply knowledge of language system and language variation in interpreting language expressions.

A1, no previous knowledge required, but extensive study material, fast pace and theoretical approach, with exercises (due to limited time also in home study)

Practical lecture - Traditional lecture
The theory discussed in the lecture is followed by exercises based on material provided by the lecturer. Active participation by the student is expected. Exercises not made during class are to be made in home study.

In a variety of question types, knowledge of the study material is tested. Both the understanding of theory and its mastery in applications are covered.
