  • have an understanding of the possibilities and limitations the law implies for economic activities;
  • have an understanding of juridical methods of thought and some basic juridical techniques;
  • be able to apply some basic juridical techniques

This course offers a general introduction to the juridical framework of economic activities. First, therefore, some basic juridical notions, classifications and techniques (sources and principles of law) are introduced. Then the aspects of private and public law that form the basis of economic law are treated. The main part of this course, however, aims to clarify the basic rules of the different parts of the economic law, including corporate law.

Features of the evaluation

The exam is in written form and consists partly of multiple-choice questions, partly of open questions. 

Determination of the final grade

The grades are determined by the lecturer as communicated via Toledo and stated in the examination schedule. The result is calculated and communicated as an integer on a scale of 20.

A correction for guessing is applied in assessing the multiple-choice questions. 


Second examination opportunity

The features of the evaluation and determination of grades are similar to those of the first examination opportunity, as described above.
