Content
The course consists of two types of highly interactive classes. Some classes will be about in-class discussion and exercises based on mandatory pre-class readings or videos, where presence and participation in class is required and followed up by keeping a personal reflection record that will build into a final reflection report at the end of the semester. In other classes, students will work in small groups on developing evidence-based practice in the process of collaborating on a real leadership case and be guided through the obstacles by the instructor. For this part too, students are expected to keep a record of reflecting on their experiences, which will also feed into the final reflection assignment.
Course material
Students will be provided with powerpoints, video material, scientific articles, and book chapters that are relevant to prepare in-class interaction and complete reflection assignments. All materials will be posted on Ultra.

Explanation
- Students come prepared to class by studying pre-class materials. Attendance to all classes is required. In class, they are expected to actively participate, and after each class they are expected to engage in a brief written reflection about class materials and small group work experiences. At the end of the semester, they can return to these written class reflections in order to write an overall integrative reflection report, which serves as input to the oral exam.
Information about retaking exams
If the student obtains less than 10/20, they have to hand in a revised version of the reflection assignment for the second exam opportunity, and a new oral exam will be scheduled. If the student obtains 10/20 or more, the reflection assignment and oral exam cannot be retaken. The small group work cannot be retaken regardless of their score.
