In these lessons, a general framework based on analysis, modelling, designing and optimization is presented, and its relation with many specific, real-life applications are explained.

Evaluation

Evaluation: Public Transportation, Design and Management (B-KUL-H2T93a)

Type : Partial or continuous assessment with (final) exam during the examination period
Description of evaluation : Paper/Project, Presentation
Type of questions : Open questions
Learning material : Course material

The students are asked to write a paper over a given subject pertaining the course. During the exam period, this paper is presented by means of a short presentation, and discussed with the lecturer. Questions can regard the content and the elaboration of the paper, but also the links between the paper and the main topics of the course. A few weeks after the assignment started, a formal moment for feedback is organised based on a first draft of the paper.
