Aims
This course aims to:
- introduce students to French linguistics as a scientific discipline;
- teach tools and concepts to observe and analyze language phenomena;
- provide insight into the structure of complex sentences for subsequent analysis;
- teach the analysis of the morphosyntax of verbs and verb tenses;
- teach the use of a reference work on French linguistics;
- highlight the importance of punctuation and teach its correct usage.
