Phonétique française (B-KUL-HFT15A)
Aims
The student is able to:
a) interpret the phonetic alphabet;
b) describe the most important problematic sounds;
c) express her/himself with a correct accent.
Previous knowledge
The general admission requirements and compulsory sequence courses are described in the education and examination regulations.
Students' written and oral level of French should at least be at level B1 of Common European Framework of Reference.

Content
(a) exercises in the language lab with a focus on interpreting the phonetic alphabet and describing problematic sounds;
(b) individual analysis of pronunciation;
(c) various individual speaking exercises.
