Radiopharmacy (B-KUL-G0T92A)

3 ECTSEnglish9 First term
POC Medical Physics

This course is aimed at:
- familiarizing students with basic concepts concerning the medical-diagnostic use of radioactive links;
- imparting thorough knowledge of the chemical and physical qualities, the mode of preparation, the analysis and the applications of radiopharmaca for in vivo diagnostic and therapeutic use;
- imparting insight into the pharmacokinetics of the distinguished radiopharmaca;
- imparting thorough knowledge of the different contrast-raising products used in case of radiological research by means of X-rays and in case of magnetical resonation tomography and echography.

No specific prior knowledge  required.
