The clinic will deal with some of the topics examined in the class of ( EU ) Human Rights Law and Policy. The exact list of topics is to be determined each year, in function of the developments at that moment. Examples: how could a case be argued before the Court of Justice, from the point of view of human rights viz. opposing interests? what are the conclusions to be drawn from a landmark decision of the Court of Justice, dealing with a human rights issue? how to deal with a specific problem highlighted by the Fundamental Rights Agency? is there a basis for the application of the human rights clause with respect to a given third country? which strategy to adopt in a human rights dialogue with a given country?
