The student is aware of the relation of this part of canon law with other fields in canon law and theology.

Content
The means and methods by which canon law supports and protects the doctrine of the church are explained. The meaning and the functioning of the magisterium in the catholic church is discussed.The developments after the Second Vatican council are discussed as well as the relation with obligations and rights in the church. Also, the subsequent legislation is explained.
