Objectives

The Postgraduate Certificate: Sustainable Polymers in a Circular Economy’ provides an answer to those seeking to expand their knowledge on circular economy with particular focus on circular polymer materials and products.
This course offers a broad interdisciplinary knowledge on the different aspects and perspectives of circular economy to enable participants to tackle the transition towards a circular economy using the principle of systems thinking (i.e. where the entire value chain is considered, evaluating the environmental, social and business impact at each stage). Further the course offers profound specialized knowledge on the design, application, (re)processing and sustainability analysis of polymer materials and products.
In the end, this course provides professionals with the necessary knowledge to each contribute from/within their own field of expertise to the transition to or development of a circular economy within their organization, always reflecting on the broader framework, the entire value chain and all aspects that have an impact or are influenced by certain choices of the organization.
