Korea is one of the most dynamic countries in the world. Its cultural heritage has been a constant source of fascination and its history is crucial to understanding East Asia today. The Center for Korean Studies of the University of Leuven offers a Postgraduate programme in Korean Studies, the first of its kind in Belgium.

Objectives
Knowledge of a country is inextricably linked to proficiency in its language. This program therefore has two major goals: to acquire fundamental knowledge of Korea (history, culture, society and politics), and to acquire a command (elementary/intermediate level) of the Korean language.Educational quality of the study programme
