The aim of therapy supervision is to advise and adjust the student in performing his/her psychotherapeutical practice in the most direct way. In small groups of maximum 4 students, the students are closely guided by a therapy supervisor in all steps of the psychotherapeutical process, and the experiences of the candidate therapists are paid attention to. In this way an intensive supervision is possible and the students also learn from each other's clinical material.

In this context, together with the supervisor the student reflects on assessment, theoretical models that are relevant for the problems discussed, therapy method or phase and this according to the psychopathology, on an appropriate therapeutical attitude, on concrete therapy technical aspects (including dealing with transference, resistance, regression, ...) and on the concrete employment of the therapeutical framework (frequence, drop out, aborting a psychotherapy, ...). Students rely on their own questions/considerations, on notes of therapy sessions and/or typed out transcriptions.

The emphasis is on being able to follow a therapeutical process within a sufficiently long supervision.

Any relevant source of information within the broad psychodynamic literature, to be determined 'ad hoc'.
In addition transcriptions of concrete therapy sessions.

Students gather in small groups (maximum 4 students) with the therapy supervisor.
