Content
From their knowledge of Hebred, the students are first of all made familiar with the older Ugaritic language and culture. In this course, a few texts of different genres are read, so that the students become familiar with the Ugaritic language, with the content of the Ugaritic literature and with scientific research on the Ugaritic language and literature.

Explanation
The exam consists of the translation, linguistic and content analysis of both seen and unseen texts. For the unseen texts, the students may use reference works (grammar books and dictionaries).
