After this course the students are familiar with the Ugaritic language and literature.

Students have a thorough familiarity with Hebrew grammar.

POC Taal- en letterkunde

From their knowledge of Hebred, the students are first of all made familiar with the older Ugaritic language and culture. In this course, a few texts of different genres are read, so that the students become familiar with the Ugaritic language, with the content of the Ugaritic literature and with scientific research on the Ugaritic language and literature.
