Aims
The student will recieve a thorough introduction to information policy, organisation of administration and the exploitation of applications and has insight into the influence of evolutions in ICT on the arrangement and running of data systems.
Previous knowledge
The student should have a solid prior knowledge of informatics. This implies: basic knowledge of information and communication technology. The student should also have a proper prior knowledge of business economy.

Evaluation characteristics
* The (written) exam consists of multiple choices. Retake exams might deviate from this.
Determination final result
* The course is assessed by the lecturer(s), as announced on Toledo and the examination schedule. The result is calculated and expressed with an integer out of 20.
* Guess correction applies to the assessment of multiple choice questions.
Second examination attempt
* The evaluation characteristics and determination of the final result are identical to those of the first examination attempt, as described above.
