Content
The course consists of a number of modules:
1. Discussion about general current topics a.o. based on press overviews, video's, etc.
2. Meeting techniques by means of an actual case.
3. Reception and negotiation talks.
4. Sales talk and complaints treatment.
5. Internal and external written communication: prevalent types of letters, memos.
6. Apply in French: application letter + c.v. and application-interview.

This course employs the principles of blended learning, i.e. online teaching and classroom teaching are combined.
The students prepare oral and written activities, so that the limited number of contact hours can be spend with communicative activities.
The interactive and participative method requires active participation, both in oral activities (presentation, meetings, discussions, sales conversation, reclamation conversation, job interview) and written activities (writing exercises for common letter types).
For this activities, the students work alone (presentation), with a fellow student (sales conversation, reclamation conversation, writing exercises), with the lecturer (job interview) or in group (meetings, discussions).

Explanation
Permanent evaluation (oral and written) of the communicative activities during the year. Emphasis is laid on skill evaluation and partly on knowledge evaluation (language, basic principles).
