Evaluation
Evaluation: Labour Sociology (B-KUL-D2T14a)
Explanation
Evaluation caracteristics
The evaluation consists of two parts:
* Presentation: 'teaching in action' in which students in a group prepare a presentation together. More information about the presentation will be communicated in the lectures and via Toledo. If the student does not join a group in time, the student will receive an NA (‘not participated’) for this part. The content (articles, presentations) of this part is also part of the learning material for the final exam.
* Final exam: closed book in writing, exam with 3 open questions.
Determination final result
*This course unit is assessed by the teacher and assistant, as communicated via Toledo and the examination regulations. The result is calculated and expressed on a scale of 20.
*The end result is a weighted grade that is determined as follows:
- The presentation counts for 6 of the 20 points.
- The written final exam counts for 14 of the 20 points.
Information about retaking exams
The features of the evaluation and determination of grades are identical to those of the first examination opportunity, as described in the tab 'Explanation'.
The student only takes up the part that he did not pass at the first examination opportunity. If the student has already passed a part, the result that was obtained for that part is transferred. In the event of failure to pass or non-participation in the presentation at the first examination opportunity, this part of the examination will take place individually at the second examination opportunity instead of in a group.
