The course offers students a platform to develop and discuss their bachelor thesis and to acquire practical skills for the correct management of the thesis-related workflow and follow-ups. On the one hand, students receive valuable feedback towards the successful finalization of their bachelor thesis and are able to present and discuss their thesis with their peers. On the other hand, they learn horizontal skills that can be useful during and after their work on the bachelor thesis: for instance, the best strategies to work under pressure while ensuring one’s physical and psychological wellbeing, the use of an inclusive language and terminology, opportunities to transform the thesis into an academic output, etc.

To this end, the course is organized in lectures and seminars. Lectures aim to offer the basic knowledge for a successful finalization of the thesis. All lectures include at least 30 minutes for Q&A. Seminars ensure in-depth discussions and presentations of students’ thesis according to a peer-review approach.

Where necessary, suggested readings will be indicated in class and assigned on a weekly basis and uploaded in advance onto the course’s dedicated space on Toledo.
