Evaluation

Evaluation: Communication for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Part 3 (B-KUL-E2CM4a)

Type : Continuous assessment without exam during the examination period
Description of evaluation : Paper/Project, Participation during contact hours, Portfolio, Skills test

The grading scale of this course unit is pass/fail.

The evaluation has three parts:

  • The ASO is obliged to attend three workshops. The workshops are evaluated as follows:

- The ASO prepares the workshops by means of the selfstudy module in Toledo, prepares a case and sends it beforehand to the lecturer (one week before the workshop). The ASO who do not send their case before the deadline can attend the workshop but will receive an other assignment

- The ASO attends the workshop actively
Lecturers evaluate the cases and the manner of attendance, and a pass-fail-evaluation. ASO’s with a ‘fail’ have to attend an other workshop or receive an other assignment.

  • ASO’s have at least three Short Communication Evaluations (KCB), confirmed by a supervisor in their electronic portfolio
  • ASO’s have attended at least two meetings in the workplace about communication, and have prepared these meetings (can be a group assignment).

The evaluation is pass/fail. The ASO has to have a ‘pass’ on all three parts, to receive a pass on the whole course.

This course unit allows partial mark transfers in case of partial pass mark:

  • E0CM4a - Communication in the Workplace, Part 3 (during and beyond academic year)
  • E0DI8a - Workshops in Communication, Part 3 (during and beyond academic year)
  • E0DF7a - Meetings About Communication, Part 3 (during and beyond academic year)
