During the work placement the trainee will get thoroughly acquainted with the chosen institution. This means that he will actively observe and participate to gain insight into the problems, topics and responsibilities that are dealt with at the trainee post; the methodicaldealing with the practice of the profession, the concrete executives, etc.
Content
The offer of work placements is to be found on the website of the Institute for Cultural Studies (http://www.culturelestudies.be http://www.culturel estudies.be); the students can also search for a work placement by themselves. A format of work placement-agreement is offered. After completing the workplacement the student will write a placement report of minimum 10 pages.The placement report has to include the following items:
- an overview of the work delivered and an analysis of the way in which these tasks are being executed in the institution
- analysis of the objectives of the institution, with attention to the concrete resources that are being deployed for this
- analysis of the position that the institution occupies in a specific field
