Aims
Students who succesfully complete this course,
- have acquired advanced knowledge and (technical) skills proper to the specialty on the level of the physician
- have developed problem solving capacity and have applied it in practice
- are able to analyse and interpret domain specific data
- are able to formulate a problem in the discipline, to collect data, to analyse, interprete and report about the data
- address the patient care in a scientific manner
Previous knowledge
The students have acquired the basic knowledge, skills and attitudes to provide patient care under supervision, they have completed a clerkship in all major areas of medicine. They have chosen to continue their study in specialist medicine. They have learned to handle a medical problem in a scientific (i.e. evidence based) way.
