Activities
4.0 ects. Entrepreneurship (B-KUL-D0M00a)
Content
Based on a number of theoretical concept classes, a scientifically based insight is offered in questions such as: entrepreneurship as actor in society, the life cycle of entrepreneurship, the person and role of entrepreneur in the whole process of entrepreneurship. These concept lessons are complemented with a diversity of practical testimonies by entrepreneurs. These testimonies will take up about a third of the total lectures. Students have to make a report in which they link a number of these testimonies to the concepts seen in class. Finally, students are expected to work actively at the development of a business plan. About a third of the colleges deal with the various questions which should be treated in such plans.
Description of learning activities
Fifteen lectures consisting of hearing lectures (a third), testimonies by entrepreneurs (a third), questions about forming and developing a business plan (a third).
This includes two activities:
1. 4 credit points: individual written exam and group work (business plan)
2. 2 credit points: individual report (relating a number of testimonies to the concepts seen during the lectures).
Evaluation
Evaluation : Entrepreneurship (B-KUL-D2M00a)
