This course has three main objectives:
1.. to offer an in-depth analysis of the practice and the effects of human rights in the fields of crime, criminal justice and criminology;
2.. to deepen student skills for human rights research and practice;
3.. to encourage a critical attitude in relationship to the human rights discourse in general, and to specific human rights in particular.
Possess background knowledge in law and/or criminology.
