Aims

The aim of the seminar is to read and discuss (part of) a major work of Edmund Husserl. The seminar aims to develop the student's ability to carefully read and interpret an important philosophical text and to articulate his own questions and reflexions.
At the end of this course, students should be able to:
- understand the meaning of texts
- analyse and evaluate the argumentative structure
- participate in the discussion
- present in front of a peer group
- write a philosophical paper on a topic related to the main subject.

Previous knowledge

The seminar is limited to philosophy students on the master's level. Elementary knowledge of (Husserl's) phenomenology is required.
