Nationalism in European History (B-KUL-N0A06A)
Aims
The aim of this course is to contribute to a better understanding of the present ethnic and national diversity in Europe and examine nationalism as one of the major historical forces in European history of the last two centuries. To achieve that aim, the course follows a double track: on the one hand it provides elements for a conceptual framework, on the other hand it analyses case studies.

Evaluation
Evaluation: Nationalism in European History (B-KUL-N2A06a)
Explanation
Oral with written preparation, take-home (final examination during examination period). The evaluation will include weekly written assignments and presentations.
The students have to write an essay on an assigned topic and "defend" it some days later in an individual discussion with the professor.
