Aims

This course aims at presenting a general survey of the history of the Ancient Church for students who are not familiar with this period.
Attention will be paid to subjects such as the relation between the early christian communities and the other communities, the organization of the early church and its theological development.
In a second part, the most important persons of Christian Antiquity will be systematically presented.
