Bachelor of Business Economics: Information Systems Engineering (180 ECTS) Bachelor of Science

Students attend all the courses of the compulsory programme, including the informatics courses, the language courses and the courses in philosophy and ethics (168 credits). The students also select one major worth a minimum of 12 credits.
The 'Ombuds and tutoring office' offers tutorial services for a number of courses in the first phase.-
General compulsory program
Students may select all the courses of the compulsory programme, consisting of the courses listed below, the informatics courses, two languages and philosophy and ethics.
Students who completed the first two stages of their programme in Kortrijk, need to select course D0I60A 'Development of business applications' instead of D0H23A 'External financial reports' in the third phase.-
Compulsory track 'Economics'
The student selects one of the tracks described below, depending on the year of first enrollment and the courses completed before 2011-2012. The student has to take all the courses of the selected track.

Economics - track 1
This track is applicable to students:
-who enrolled for the programme for the first time in 2012-2013 or 2011-2012
-who enrolled for the programme before 2011-2012 and DIDN'T pass for a minimum of 42 credits (pass = attain credit or use compensatory credit entitlement)
Students who attained a credit/used compensatory credit entitlement for 'Introduction to Economics' will retain this grade and keep this course in their program: they cannot select 'Global Economics'.
Students who attained a credit/used compensatory credit entitlement for 'D0H14A Business economics (HIR)', will retain this grade and keep this course in their program: they cannot select 'Managerial economics'.6 ECTS Markets and Prices

Economics - track 2
This track is applicable to students:
- who enrolled for the programme before 2011-2012 and DID pass for a minimum of 42 credits (pass = attain credit or use compensatory credit entitlement).
Students who attained a credit/used compensatory credit entitlement for 'Introduction to Economics' will retain this grade and keep this course in their program: they cannot select 'Global Economics'.
Students who attained a credit/used compensatory credit entitlement for 'D0H14A Business economics (HIR)', will retain this grade and keep this course in their program: they cannot select 'Managerial economics'.6 ECTS The Global Economy

Transitional Arrangement
Only students who were already registered in 2009-2010 don't have to select D0T21A Macro-Economics in their Bachelor's programme, but in their Master's programme. The student has to select 'D0T24A Fiscal and Labour Agreement Law' instead.
If the student obtained a credit/used his compensatory credit entitlement for 'D0T24A Fiscal law and law on collective labour agreements', this course stays in the programme, and the student doesn't have to take 'D0T21A Maco-Economics' during his Bachelor's Programme, but in his Master's Programme.6 ECTS Fiscal law and law on collective labour agreements

Informatics Courses
