The students take
a. The general compulsory programme, including the language courses and philosophy and ethics courses.
b. The compulsory track 'Economics' :depending on what year they first enrolled and the programme completed before 2011-2012, they need to select economics-route 1 or route 2.
c. The students select one major and one second major, completed by 6 credits' worth of free electives. These electives offer the opportunity to specialize in two domains. The student needs to take a minimum of 180 credits' worth of courses to obtain his/her Bachelor's degree.
The 'Ombuds and tutoring office' offers guidance with a number of courses in the first year .-

Students may select all courses of this group.

Compulsory track 'Economics'
The student selects one of the tracks described below, depending on the year of first enrollment in the programme and the courses completed before 2011-2012. The student has to take all the courses of the selected track.

Economics - track 1
This track is applicable to students:
- who enrolled for the programme for the first time in 2012-2013 or 2011-2012
- who enrolled for the programme before 2011-2012 and DIDN'T pass for a minimum of 42 credits (pass = attain credit or use compensatory credit entitlement)
Students who attained a credit/used compensatory credit entitlement for 'Introduction to Economics' will retain this grade and keep this course in their program: they cannot select 'Global Economics'.
Students who attained a credit/used compensatory credit entitlement for 'D0H14A Business economics (HIR)', will retain this grade and keep this course in their program: they cannot select 'Managerial economics'.6 ECTS Markets and Prices

Economics - track 2
This track is applicable to students:
- who enrolled for the programme before 2011-2012 and DID pass for a minimum of 42 credits (pass = attain credit or use compensatory credit entitlement).
Students who attained a credit/used compensatory credit entitlement for 'Introduction to Economics' will retain this grade and keep this course in their program: they cannot select 'Global Economics'.
