Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Religious Studies (Abridged Programme)

After admission, the student's individual programme is decided upon by the Teaching Committee, based on the proposal of the Secretary of the TCPE, who together with the Study Advisor carefully compares the student's previously acquired credits and competences with the goals and specific programme of the Abridged Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Religious Studies.
The programme of the Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Religious Studies constitutes the basic criterion to determine the individual study programme of the student.
As a rule the programme of the Abridged Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Religious Studies (between 45 and 120 credits) maximally consists of: all 'Theological Components' (90 credits), three courses of the 'Religious Studies Components' (12 credits), one biblical language of the 'Language Components' (4 credits), one course of the 'Canon Law Components' (4 credits), and 'Guided Individual Work' (10 credits).
The guided individual work can consist of components of the Introduction to Theology, the Interdisciplinary Seminar and/or the Essay.
