1. Candidates who have obtained one of the following degrees, must only submit a statement of purpose:
On the basis of the following degrees, or similar degrees, obtained at an institution of the Flemish Community:
- Master of Electrical Engineering (Leuven)
- Master of Electronics and ICT Engineering Technology (Leuven)
- Master of Engineering: Computer Science (Leuven)
- Master of Mathematical Engineering (Leuven)
- Master of Mathematics (Leuven)
- Master of Physics (Leuven)
Master of Science in Information Engineering Technology
The degrees mentioned above, obtained from institutions other than KU Leuven, are equally recognized.
2. Candidates who have obtained one of the following degrees, must submit a statement of purpose, and a copy of their transcripts as proof of good study results:
- a Master of Engineering Technology, other than Electronics and ICT, with sufficient affinity for ICT and a strong mathematical foundation
- other masters from the field of applied sciences, with sufficient affinity for ICT and a strong mathematical foundation.
- other master's degree or experience that adequately prepares for the Advanced Master of Cybersecurity.
