Students who did not obtain their previous degree(s) at an institution of the Flemish Community should submit an application via the Admissions Office: https://www.kuleuven.be/english/application/.

Diploma requirements

Participants must have at least a bachelor's degree.
Students are admitted to this postgraduate programme after an application and selection procedure: https://www.technovation.be/application.

Language requirements

All applicants must prove their proficiency in English. The English proficiency test scores accepted by KU Leuven are:

• TOEFL iBT certificate: minimum overall score of 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based);
• IELTS Academic certificate: minimum overall score of 6,5;
• Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE) or C2 Proficiency (CPE) certificate.

The following applicants are exempted from submitting an English proficiency certificate:

Applicants who have obtained a previous diploma (secondary or higher education) taught in English in Australia, English-speaking Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

You can enroll for the programme if your application is approved and if - at the start of the programme - you meet one of the admission requirements below:

• Obtained a Master of Science degree in Bioengineering Technology, Bioscience Engineering, Engineering Science, Engineering Technology or Business Engineering.
• Obtained a degree that gives admission to one of the Master’s programmes above.
• Finished a bridging or preparatory programme that gives admission to one of the Master’s programmes above.
