Objectives

After completing PIONEER, students will have achieved the following learning outcomes:
1.  Students possess specialised and advanced knowledge in public sector innovation, the role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and technological evolutions in that innovation.
2.  Students can integrate specialised knowledge from technical fields with the public administration field, formulating comprehensive solutions to current and future challenges of the public sector.
3.  Students understand core concepts related to public administrations and governance, recognizing of the specificities of the public sector in the more technical fields.
4.  Students have the necessary understanding and skills to actively contribute to innovative solutions addressing challenges faced by public administrations.
5.  Students can actively contribute to ICT-enabled governments and to innovative, inclusive, reflective and sustainable societies.
6.  Students are experts capable of driving innovation within worldwide public sector organizations.
7.  Students can meet new societal needs by generating and using emerging technologies in the public sector.
8.  Students are qualified to critically reflect on the consequences of technological change in the public sector and beyond.
