Rules for the composition of my study programme:
a. Students choose a major and take the two courses on offer (8 credits) as well as the corresponding seminar (4 credits) and research course (4 credits).
b. As a rule, students take five courses from the five majors outside the major in which they specialize; these courses can be either 'courses' or 'research courses'. One out of these five can also be a 'seminar'.
c. Students are free to take any course, or research course as an elective.
d. Students write a thesis. It is strongly recommended that they have a knowledge of those languages which are useful or necessary for their research.
ebis. Students who choose the major Biblical Studies, need to have a knowledge of Hebrew and Greek. They have to add these courses in their ISP if they did not do this prior to entering the Master of Advanced Studies in Theology and Religion program.
fbis. Students who choose the major History of Church and Theology, need to have a knowledge of Latin and Greek. They have to add these courses in their ISP if they did not do this prior to entering the Master of Advanced Studies in Theology and Religion program.
g. Instead of the courses, seminars, research courses or electives of this program, students are free to choose an equivalent from the programs of the theological faculty of the Université Catholique de Louvain, Louvain-la-Neuve.
Students must submit their request to do so to the Secretary of the Teaching Committee.
