The course is dealing with some selected themes, such as (e.g.):

• building up of a Christian community in our time
• Christian vocation; ministry since Vatican II; religious life; spirituality and pastoral service...
• domestic Church
• the future of the parish
• youth pastoral
• pastoral applications of the tension between the originality of

• criticims and dialogue within the Church
• pastoral care for suffering people
• church and reconciliation...

Course Material

A reader including articles and texts on themes that are dealth with in class.

Course activities

• The students actively participate  in the lectures
• The students  are asked to read some texts and to think critically on it.
• The students actively participate in the Discussion Board on Toledo
• The students are expected to follow some lectures of the international conference in march on the theme of the 'domestic church'
